Our NGO is basically working on women empowerment along with skill development training programs
De Prakash Rao was born on November 11, 1958, in Cuttack, Odisha. Rao founded a school called Asha O Ashwasana. He started the school after seeing young children in local slums deprived of education and abstaining from alcohol and petty crimes. He arranged for children from first to third grade to be taught there. Currently, there are 80 students studying here.
He was awarded, The Annei Basant Award in 2015, Human Rights Award in 2016, Padma Shri In 2019.

We are mainly focusing on better education and a better life for slum Children. Now we are educating 80 children and in the future, we will Educate more.

He started the school after seeing young children in local slums deprived of education and abstaining from alcohol and petty crimes. He arranged for children from first to third grade to be taught there. Currently, there are 80 students studying there. He spent half of his income from the tea shop on running the school.Our Impact
